How is the perfume bottle designed?

When a brand designs a perfume, does it make the perfume first, design the bottle first, or do the two work together?

How would the designer express the smell with the bottle?

And, in the process of creating perfume, do perfumers need to know what the perfume bottle looks like?

I traveled all over New York City’s whisky specialty stores, looking for a touch of color that seemed to feel a mellow, warm liquid flowing into my throat. But after the perfume color is decided, I have to discuss with the perfumer again to determine whether the combination of perfume ingredients used can be combined with the color I want.

Indeed, the same theme of perfume creativity can have different approaches. The method determines the way of creativity, the key points of creativity, and the final effect and result of the perfume.
